Leitrim County Council is urging anyone who may have questions or queries about a proposed €3m facelift for Carrick-on-Shannon to get in touch before the end of this month.
Last November the government confirmed that funding for a major upgrade of the streetscape of the town, including wider footpaths and developing more car parking spaces, was approved.
It’s hoped the project will begin in the autumn and a public consultation process for the regeneration of the town centre is due to close later this month.
As part of the information campaign, an open session with the designers, Waterford firm DHB architects and council officials will take place on Wednesday between 4pm and 8pm at the Bush Hotel and officials will be available to answer any question about the project.
