Leitrim man appointed vice-president of Macra na Feirme

A Leitrim man has been appointed as one of three new vice presidents of Macra na Feirme.

Fergus O’Rourke from Carrigallen was declared the winner in the North West race yesterday.

Gerard Mahon from Tullamore in Offaly has been elected as Leinster Vice President and Sean Wallace from Donoughmore, Cork is the new Munster Vice President.


Thomas Duffy from Virginia, Cavan has been declared the 37th Macra na Feirme National President and the three new vice-presidents will take up their positions alongside the president-elect, at Macra’s National AGM in Kildare on the 11th of May 2019.
